'Midwinter Fire' Dogwood

Cornus sanguinea 'Midwinter Fire' has brightly coloured stems in shades of red, orange and yellow which are most noticable in winter, when the bare stems are clearly visible after the leaves have turned bright yellow and fallen.
Cornus sanguinea 'Midwinter Fire' will grow in most soil conditions and does particularly well in damp conditions in full sun or partial shade. It is a spreading shrub that is not as vigorous as some other Dogwoods.
