Viburnum Davidii
Viburnum Davidii
Dwarf, dome-shaped, compact evergreen shrub with leathery, dark green leaves, with three distinctive, deep, nearly parallel main veins. Bears dense, terminal clusters of tubular white-pink flowers in late spring, followed by ovoid, metallic blue-black berry-like fruit (both male and female plants required for fruiting).
Forms a low dome with large veined leaves- very architectural. Despite being an extremely tough and hardy plant, this is a shrub which is as useful in an exotic-looking planting design as it is in a low-maintenance comercial scheme. Tolerates sun or shade on a range of soil conditions as long as it is not waterlogged.
Available as bushes 60cm tall by 60cm wide.
